So last year, we reinforced the transom with plywood and installed a lifting bracket, For less drag, we capped the well </div> <div> with a removable epoxied plywood cover, and covered the side of the well with a snapped-on white SunBrella cover. This gives us a big storage area </div> <div> for fenders, cushions, cooler, etc..</div> <div> Now we can turn VELEIRO on a dime when docking, and also get more speed and response and less cavitation when motoring, as well as a quiet </div> <div> cockpit.
